My name is Mike Leon and I am a third year at Cal Poly.  I just recently started my own DJ/Entertainment company called Disturbing the Peace.  I started DJing in the 10th grade on vinyl turntables scratching and spinning classic Hip Hop.  However my whole musical style changed when I attended my first electronic dance music (EDM) concert:

 Daft Punk.

Ever since I saw Daft Punk live at Coachella, I changed my whole musical style and began DJing Electro House music.  San Luis Obispo has never had an Electro/Techno scene, but I have made it my mission to introduce SLO to the ways of the techno.  One party at a time, I will continue to spread my love of music for the masses to dance to.

DJing has never been my only hobby.  I grew up in Encinitas, CA, a coastal town in North County San Diego known for its laidback vibes and heavy involvement in extreme sports such as surfing and skateboarding.  The town I grew up in had a huge impact on my life and can help explain why all my friends and I surf and skate.  You can find out more about me on my Interests page.
